Kind of whole30

We ended up being out of town, so October wasnt a great month to do whole30… but even with visiting the pops…(translation….great food), and a coast trip….I did have some success… I feel that I have a bit of success

57.38 pounds of fat to start

50.22 pounds of fat at the end… loss 7.16 pounds of fat. 7.2 pounds loss total…. ALL fat! Woohoo!!

.25 inches loss in biceps

2 inches in waist

1/2 in hips

Possible gain in chest..but could be something else…

I still have a ways to go…but I will take this as a win!!

I am not going to do strict whole 30, but will try more paleo..or even clean eating…. small workout in the morning…and intervals in the evening….

Also ordered Hello fresh, to get me out of my food slump…..

Lori just finished a Runtastic run of 4.3 mi in 50m 00s

Did great last night, until I opened my wine.  Eating cookies gave me heartburn, and I felt horrible at the start of my run.  Back to #whole30 for the next 10 days

#whole30 Day 3

I am counting the days starting Sunday, since I blew it on Saturday. (However, it is good to know that no fruit makes me feel horrible, worse than I think you are supposed to feel….)  that said…. I was bad and weighed myself and am down 6 pounds in 2 days…. motivating to say the least!

Day 3 breakfast

2 eggs cooked well
1 4 ounce steak cooked medium rare…. used salt and pepper and an Emeril steak rub.

Post workout smoothie…. Although it isn’t best to do smoothies often…this one is 1 cup water, 2 cups spinach and 1 cup blue berries.

Salad for lunch….. ham lunch meat Oscar Meyer, clean ham, 2 cups of spring mix, 1 hard boiled egg, 1/2 Avocado topped with a few shakes of balsamic vinegar

Dinner …4 ounce steak and veggies. 1 zucchini with 3/4 red pepper sautéed in virgin olive oil and minced garlic.

Over all, I feel pretty good. I have a little bit of a head ache, but was disappointed when I tried to take a nap, but realized I wasn’t tired.
