I am a hot mess, but speed intervals were awesome! Today was a 1 mile jog, followed by 1000m fast run (7 mph for me); then a 1000m walk (4 mph) x 8.

I figured 1000 m to equal 0.062 miles, which isnt much at 7 mph. I would love to get to 7mph for a normal run…..

Keep coming back to this verse.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Romans 12:12‭-‬18 NIV

Over the last year, I have come back to this verse often. I return for different reasons. Sometimes it is due to needing the reminder to

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Other times, it has been to remind me to

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

And to

not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone

Today though, it is to remember that it is appropriate to mourn with those who mourn…

A coworker lost her husband last night. Our entire team is mourning with her.

Genesis 15:16 NIV
16 In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.”

Exodus 8-10 Exiting Egypt was all about worship.

Which Land Are You Living In?

1. Egypt – Living with NOT enough.

Which Land Are You Living In?

2. The Wilderness – Living with JUST enough.

Which Land Are You Living In?

3. Promise Land – Living with MORE than enough.

Joshua 1:8 “Do not let the Word depart from your mouth…”

Joshua 1:11 “Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan.”

Crossing Over To A Blessed Life!

1. Get your STUFF together.

Crossing Over To A Blessed Life!

2. Become a SOLUTION oriented person.

Crossing Over To A Blessed Life!

3. Get rid of that easily OFFENDED spirit.

Joshua 1:1-11 NKJV
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord , it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: 2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” 10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11 “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’ ”

A new song…

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.
