My prayer

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.

There are things going on that I don’t understand. Lord, I am calling out for insight and crying aloud for understanding. Please give me wisdom and discernment for the things that are hurting your children. I do not want to be lime one that doubts, and is tossed about on the sea.

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
James 1:6 NIV

This is how I have been feeling. There are so many things to take into account. Who stays, who goes…. How do I influence those around me to reach out and be kind to those they struggle with?

John 11:20-27 NIV
20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home. 21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

John 11:32-37 NIV
32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34 “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!” 37 But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?”

Resurrecting Grace

1. It has its own TIMETABLE but is always ONTIME.
—————————
Grace is never late.
Our timeframe is not the best timeframe.

—————————

Resurrecting Grace

2. It goes forth to create a STORY.
—————————
The Grace in your life isn’t just for you.

Jesus waited because He I knows what He is doing.
Every thing Jesus does is for others

The best way to influence others is to tell them your story

If we don’t trustJesus, how can He work miracles in our life.
—————————

John 11:40-42 NIV
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” 41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

Resurrecting Grace

3. We tend to accept His LORDSHIP but question His LEADERSHIP.
—————————
what am I trusting God for?

Resurrecting Grace

4. Our WORLD changes when our WORSHIP changes.

John 12:1-3 NIV
1 Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. 3 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Things will happen

I thought of you when I read this quote from “The Power of Positive Leadership: How and Why Positive Leaders Transform Teams and Organizations and Change the World” by Jon Gordon –

“As a leader you must remember that events are going to happen. Challenges are going to come your way. Your job is not to get stuck in the mud. Don’t sink to a lower level. Keep your head up. Look for the opportunity and the good that is coming your way.”

All things

Woke up at 2 am, worried, not able to sleep. Woke up at 445, to the neighbors dog barking, that doesn’t happen. Wondered if a critter was in their barn. Went to the door and heard horses running. Something was scaring the ladies, although it could have been the doves, who were afraid of my flashlight. Lexi got out, but ran right up to me. I threw them some hay after I put her back, and went back to bed for a bit.

Oh and its cold. The heater isn’t working, and the water dispenser in the fridge isn’t dispensing water.

These are small little issues, really nothing in comparison to pretty much anything else, but I found comfort uber the middle off the night when I saw this verse.

Same story

Funny, some days, it seems that you keep seeing the same story. This is when you know that God is speaking to you.

The next step is to understand what HE wants you to do with it.

On a personal level, it is kind of simple. I say kind of, because it is evident, but doing it isn’t always easy. Controlling your thoughts, moods, and tongue, is a difficult task.

On a professional level, it is even harder. People are sometimes a bit more reserved in what they say around me. But even adults, are unkind to each other, dwell and the negative, form cliques, and are just mean.

We can invoke blessings in the land we live. I am claiming Valley Life, my house, and my family, as the land God has given me and am going to claim blessings, and victory by God. That He will also hide the previous problems from our hearts….

I know this won’t be easy, strongholds need to be broken. Previous issues need to be dealt with. I will need strength, and can only do this if God goes before us.

began taking “thank you” walks to practice gratitude, enjoy the outdoors, and feel grateful instead of stressed. This was a life-changing practice that not only energized me physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but also provided time for many profound insights and ideas to come to me.
